This is the home page of the ONE for Christian Exploration translation of the New Testament. It explains how you can read the complete publication on this website. It also tells you how you can obtain copies of the book.

There are two ways of navigating about this website.

The first is to follow the order of pages as in the Good as New Scriptures publication. To do this you click here to go to the introduction and then on the follow-on link at the end of each page.

The second is to move as you wish from book to book. To do this you click on  the boxes at the top of each page. For convenience the boxes use the traditional names as these are shorter and are likely to be more memorable than the new names. The boxes are placed in order as in the Translation, not the traditional order. The Translation uses new names for the books, some of them rather expansive. And it leaves out some of the traditional books and puts in a new one. At the end  of the boxes is a link to  the Glossary for an explanation of difficult terms.

A discussion page and further information about the translation is to be found by clicking here.

The list below gives the traditional names on the left and the names used in Good as New on the right in the order they appear in the book.

What is new about this Translation on the internet?

Nearly all the Translations of the Bible are on the web.

Good as New is a community translation into which members of ONE for Christian Exploration (formerly ONE for Christian Renewal) and others have been invited to contribute.  By its nature this translation is never fixed. Amendments are needed because of changes in the meaning of words as language changes, and because of advances in biblical scholarship. So contributions to the text continue to be asked for. If you have any suggestions in how the text can be improved, following the intentions as set out in the introduction, email them to   .

Amendments are first placed on the pages here and are shown in blue. When it comes time for a new edition, the text is taken from this website. ONE for Christian Exploration experiences  God  writing the  bible  through people today, as much as through people in the past. And he will rewrite it through the people in the future.

This translation proclaims that the scriptures upon which the Christian faith is founded are like the Spirit of God, changing and unforeseeable as the wind.
